ALEX HERRERO – VIDEOGRAPHER & EDITOR
In 1985, Alex started Unique Video Productions. Alex always had an interest in moving pictures since childhood. He was involved in film and film production and with the advent of video he was able to expand his abilities to produce entertaining and thoughtful productions.
He apprenticed with several video production companies while maintaining his own company. Event videography was quickly becoming more and more popular. Alex not only does sales for Unique Video Productions, but also edits and and shoots many events.
He has shot or edited every type of ceremony and shot in almost every kind of location. From weddings on the beach to St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. Alex has worked in most banquet halls in North Jersey and New York as well as Eastern Pennsylvania.
He has done work for employees of VH-1, MTV, A & E and MSNBC. Alex takes a very personal interest in every event he shoots and captures the moments that make each wedding or event unique.
JACKIE HERRERO – EVENT COORDINATOR
Jackie is Alex’s wife and business partner. Her voice is the one you’ll first hear when you call our office. She not only named “Unique Video” but was instrumental in its organization.
Her extensive background in office management and customer service gives her the experience and professionalism needed to work with clients and help them in decision making along with explaining our services in a friendly, knowledgeable way. She is right there with you from the day you book your event until your video is completed – and even after you receive your video.
Jackie has the knowledge to answer any question regarding the many facets of event planning. This personalized service gives our clients the confidence that their event will be given all the attention it deserves.
She is a very patient, understanding person and can help you handle those last-minute jitters that occur while planning a big event. With some companies you never know who you will contact for your event – with Unique Video you can be sure that Jackie will be on the case!
DANIEL HERRERO – EDITOR & VIDEOGRAPHER
Daniel, one of the younger members of our team (and Jackie & Alex’s son) was born into video production. He has been involved in every aspect of video production including video editing, photo montages, 2nd camera shooting at wedding ceremonies, graduations, communions and simulcasts. Daniel also designed and maintains the Unique Video website.Daniel graduated Magna Cum Laude from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Media Communications and Technology. Daniel’s youth, enthusiasm and creativity has helped to keep Unique Video on the cutting edge of modern trends.
JUSTIN VAN DYKE – VIDEOGRAPHER
Since a child, Justin has had an interest in both videography and photography. While still in high school, Justin decided to make a career centered on his passions. Since a sophomore in high school, Justin has been documenting special occasions including weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Sweet 16’s, as well as several corporate videos. He has worked for several video production companies throughout New Jersey.
Justin is currently attending William Paterson University and is passionately pursuing a B.A. in Communications with his concentration being in TV/Video Production. Although still in college, he has documented many types of ceremonies and receptions in most churches and reception halls in the area. Justin also does work as an event photographer and audio technician for concerts.
JOSE DONOSO – VIDEOGRAPHER
While working for a video equipment manufacturer back in 1987, I purchased my first video camera and have been a Cinematographer ever since. I have freelanced for many studios in New York City, New Jersey, and Connecticut. My experience has led me to document over 800 events ranging from weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, and high profile affairs. I became intrigued with capturing the stories of a wedding day. It has been my passion ever since, and I consider Cinematography to be a celebration of life through imagery.
Weddings are about people. If I missed that, then I missed everything. I realize that these videos will be seen for generations to come. The images should tell a story beyond the day of the event. With that in mind, I have one day to capture images that will last a lifetime.
Being unobtrusive by nature, most of my clients do not notice that I am documenting them throughout the day. This allows me to capture unraveling candid moments that reveal people's true personalities. I put all of my energy into anticipating these key moments.
CHRIS SENDROWSKI - VIDEOGRAPHER
Graduated School of Visual Arts, Manhattan NY in 2000. BFA with a major in film/video editing.
Chris has worked full time in the wedding business for various studios since 1997. A member of the NJVA, he is a professional shooter and editor, with well over 700 wedding shot to date and well over 1000 edited.
